We had to find the missing length of a triangle by cross multiplying 9

One triangle is 9 and 12 a similar triangle is 6 and x to find the missing side. 9/6=12/x 9x/9=72/9
x=8 9/6=12/8 72=72

You can cross multiply and find the answer and then divide it by x.
