1.  Watch this BRAIN POP VIDEO.  

            While watching the video, make sure to write down the definitions of the words on the    
            worksheet.


2.  When the video ends, complete the backside of the worksheet (the 10 question "quiz").  
     You may have to show work on some problems, so pay close attention!  Turn the 
     worksheet in to the blue bin and make sure you have a copy of your homework.

x : times some thing.

A proportion is like $8 over $2,200 = X over $206. To solve this you have to use cross-products. So 2,200x = 8 x 206. So 8 x 205 = 1,648. Then 2,200x over 2,200 = 1,648 over 2,200. So x = o.75 cents.
